Ice Skating Rink coming to Dayton!

An Ice Skating Rink will be temporarily placed in downtown Dayton for the holidays!

Dayton City Government and Rhea County Government officials confirm a partnership to bring a temporary ice skating rink to Downtown Dayton! Crews are currently building this temporary ice skating rink at Centennial Park in downtown Dayton.


The rink will be open for the public to enjoy by November 18th and will be open until February 28th of next year! The skating rink will be open 7 days a week opening at noon and will close at 8:00pm.


Several other organizations in the area are helping with this project as well such as RETC, MainStreet Dayton, and Dayton Rotary Club.


They are also looking for seasonal help to work at the rink! They have shifts available NOW until March 3rd ranging from Tuesday- Sunday from 1:30pm-8:00pm.
